OneNet – Leaning on Lenovo to improve desktop performance

In the year 2000, OneNet was building the foundations for subscription-based cloud computing before the cloud had even entered the public consciousness.

The business made the ‘as-a-service’ model its own. Today, it offers a range of subscription services including: managed infrastructure as a service, backup and disaster-recovery as a service, security as a service, and its pièce de résistance: managed desktop as a service.

To ensure that it could effectively offer its OneNet Desktop as a Service platform to its customers, OneNet needed to lean on a reliable and high-performing computing platform. That’s where Lenovo’s Data Center Group came in.
